OPERA SULL'ACQUA - di Erri De Luca

Terminata oggi la lettura di questo libriccino di poesia sospesa tra l'acqua biblica - del diluvio, dell'alluvione, della creazione, della rigenerazione, del pianto - e l'acqua della storia più recente (i fiumi e le guerre che li hanno insanguinati), l'acqua che decanta dentro di noi in forma di mistero, di archetipico fluido che ci dona la vita e il pensiero. Un grazie speciale a chi me l'ha donato e a cui lo restituirò per gettare un ponte, perché, come me, "ha steso braccia al largo", tentando "il salto dei pesci che sognano il volo".

AIRPLANES OVER MANHATTAN stopped to wonder a moment … … what if they raised Manhattan towers like traps for mechanical birds? since a thread must be in this aerial slaughter this blind run of aircrafts against the glaring walls fear dwells in the steel and crystal traps of the metropolis fear is the magnet that hurls the silver albatross via inertia into the heated abyss of hijacked sense stopped to wonder a moment… … black blowfly that dims your thoughts an eclipse in an eyeball its crash into the glass soul, death to your devout distraction © Raffaele Messinese 2007
